About Massena Housing Authority
The mission of the Massena Housing Authority is to provide safe, clean and affordable housing to low, very low and extremely low income tenants. This includes families, the elderly and disabled.
Overview
The Massena Housing Authority was created in 1957. The express purpose was, and continues to be, the provision of low-income public housing. Rent is calculated at 30% of gross income, after allowable deductions (ex. Medical expenses, child care expenses, etc.)
The current stock of the Massena Housing Authority is as follows:
Laurel Terrace (100 units for Elderly and/or Disabled), Grasmere Terrace (50 units for Elderly and/or Disabled), 55 Victory Road (16 units for elderly and/or disabled), Meadow View Homes (50 two- three- and four-bedroom units) and Victory Family Apartments (25 two- and three- bedroom units)
